This has really been annoying me lately.  There are all of these angsty teens thrashing around on Tumblr about how Romeo and Juliet is stupid because killing yourself isn’t romantic.  While I agree that suicide isn’t romantic IT ISN’T SUPPOSED TO BE.  R&J is a tragedy.  It’s meant to be “stupid” and senseless.  That’s tragedy.
